For more than 25 years Henny Hemmes had a successful career in motorsport with two Dutch FIA Championship titles, as well as top results in 24-hour racing in Europe.
As from early 2010, she is a member of the FIA Women in Motorsport Commission (WMC) and represents the Dutch ASN as National Coordinator.
Since the early eighties, she works as a test driver and automotive writer for Dutch and American publications. She is fluent in English and German and speaks French and Italian.
She is a long time juror of the Business Car of the Year in her native country and a juror of the Classic Gala Schwetzingen in Germany.
In 2001, she was involved in the start up of the Autoweek.nl , which soon became the most successful automotive website in her country. She is a regular guest in automotive television programs.
Henny is president of the Automotive Press Club in The Netherlands.
